Plan Your Event

Welcome to Carved and Crafted Catering by Chartwells! Our mission is to provide you with exceptional quality, service and a creative cutting-edge culinary experience. Our professional staff is available to assist in planning your special event from 9am-5pm, Monday - Friday. Policies and Procedures

To ensure optimal selection we request that events be booked at least five business days in advance, and for events larger than 100 guests, seven business days. We are currently experiencing the effects of the staffing shortage and supply chain issues, the five business days window allows us sufficient time to react and provide the best possible service. Online ordering will cut off seven business days in advance, any late order requests will incur a $150 fee. Food and alcohol donations are not accepted, contact the catering office for sponsorships.

Guest Counts

Your confirmed guest count is crucial for us to deliver impeccable service. Final count is due five business days prior to your event.

Event Time

Events are billed in four-hour increments. The 4 hour time window includes 1 hour of set up, 2 hours of catered food service and 1 hour break down. Events exceeding the four-hour limit will be subject to additional service fees, contact your catering coordinator for more information.

Cancellation

We kindly ask for at least five business days' notice for cancellations to avoid any charges. Cancellations within three business days are subject to 100% of the fee will be due.

Serviceware and China

All disposable serviceware will be furnished as accompaniment to all items purchased. Some exceptions apply to orders being picked up. We provide high quality disposable plasticware. China and glassware is available for all events with up to 250 guests. Please contact our catering coordinator for any event with more than 250 guests.

Linen

Tablecloths are supplied for all food and beverage service tables at events. Tablecloths for non-food tables are available for an additional fee, per table.

Tax Exempt

We request tax-exempt forms be provided to our office, three business days prior to the event.

Billing & Payment

 We kindly request payment information be provided at the time of booking. Credit card payments are subject to a 3.5% fee; balance must be paid seven business days in advance. For off campus clients, a 50% deposit is required upon booking.. 

Student Menu

 Chartwells is pleased to offer a cost-effective alternative for student groups hosting activities on campus. This menu is reserved for student ran groups and must be picked up by your group representative. 


Due to health code restrictions, no food is allowed to be taken from the event.
